Trip to New York. Outfit #2

For my second outfit in New York, I packed only a button-down shirt (in case it would be warm), a sweater, a pair of slightly stretchy pants, and little earrings to complete my outfit. Like I said in my previous post, I wanted to travel light and I did.

The pants I wore on Sunday have a longer length, usually, I wear them with heels. To make them work with flat shoes I tucked two inches inside, sewed this fold by hand in several places, and ironed it well.

At first, I tried to twist them outward twice, but I noticed that with such twists my legs looked shorter and I myself looked much shorter. I realized that with my height (5'3''/ 162 cm) this technique doesn't work because the outer cuff on the pants adds a line that cuts the length of the leg and overall height.

It was another beautiful day in New York. We enjoyed walking on the streets and had lunch outside in one of our favorite restaurants.

Love it!
