New trend from my past

      It looks like belts are having a big come back in trend this fall. I used to wear all different kinds of belts. They played a big role in my outfits - fabric, leather, suede; wide, narrow and even scarfs. In my 20s and 30s I couldn't finish any look without a belt. And now, I am pretty excited about this trend.

      Today I went to my closet and found a box full of my belts which I had saved from my past. I went through all of them and decided to wear one of them right away. The belt I am wearing today I bought right after I came to the US which means 12 years ago. It was a little loose on me, but I decided to buy it anyway thinking that one day it would fit me well. And this day has come.

      This top I bought much later and, surprisingly, it matched very well with the belt. Orange has never been my favorite color, but I have noticed that I have many items of that color in my closet.

      And, in the end, I just want to say that I live in those culottes this summer - airy, snug and very comfy!

    I just thrifted two leather belts and an orange fabric one which I am looking forward to wearing in fall. Your belt is gorgeous! And I can see those culottes are super comfy, and very stylish too. Lise
