My way of shopping
It has been really cold for over a month in our region which sometimes makes it hard to take good pictures outside. This photo shoot didn't go well - it was snowing the whole day, then when it stopped snowing it was getting dark and the low temperature didn't let me be outside for a long time. Probably all of you who live in cold regions know how hard it is to take good pictures of outfits in wintertime. I really shouldn't complain about it.
Today I want to show you my new purchase from Anthropologie. I saw this jacket in a store a while ago but it was too pricey; that's why I decided to wait until it went on sale. Usually, I always have an idea about how much I am willing to pay for any item I see in a store or on online. I am not an original price buyer and I have my own philosophy about shopping. If I like something very much I will keep an eye on it until that item goes on sale. If they still have my size I will buy it, if not... - well, I will look for something else. My philosophy is - if something belongs to me, it will be mine one day! If it doesn't, it means that I didn't need it in the first place. Very simple!
This jacket was meant to be the main one day. When I tried it on in a store a couple of months ago I fell in love with it immediately, but I would never pay $198.00 no matter how much I liked it. I waited until it went on sale and I was lucky enough to buy it for $65.00. I think it sounds much better.
It is totally my style with great quality and fit, well-made in Spain and most importantly - it will surely stay in my closet for a long time.

This is such a cute coat! I never buy anything full price. I love that you got this on such a great deal!

Thank you very much, Ruth!
DeleteI love your philosophy on buying the clothes, I sometimes follow this principal too. This jacket is lovely and not because you paid less then half price :). I also like the way you style your whole outift
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Anna!
DeleteAlthough that blazer is very elegant, I love those cropped trousers! I always love that lenght on trousers! Wonderfull look. I hope to see you at my Fancy Friday linkup party!
ReplyDeleteThank you you very much, Nancy!
DeleteYou are my kind of shopper! Love the blazer with the cropped trousers...and the bag...I have a weakness for handbags.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I love handbags! Thank you so much, Donna!
DeleteTatiana, I rarely buy full price, but I have made exceptions. My rain coat (which I bought at Nordstrom's and did not look at the price tag) was an exception, and I have no regrets about it; I love that coat. Otherwise, I shop sales. If I absolutely love something, I am willing to buy it full price rather than risk my size being gone.
ReplyDeleteMadeline, I think I remember that coat. It was a beautiful piece. Thank you very much for your comment!
DeleteI love your philosophy. I'm the same way. I also love your outfit.
